Charades

(this blog entry is inspired by my Unbeatable team one Saturday night. go girls!)

I always believe that in every move we make in this world, there's always a moral lesson. Like the game of charades. I realize this game is meant to be played not just for fun, but for character growth and moral boost. Haha.

I can never ever forget when one of the guys said, "Nadurog namin ang inyong ego!". And well, he's absolutely correct. Nothing is more hurtful to pride than losing a game to a bunch of gloating guys! Like I said, this game, when won, can actually be a true perk up! And losing it, can really be a slap in the face! Youch!

Charades sharpens our senses. All units of the brain working. Right and left sides of the brain in full swing. Perfect work out for our hibernating heads!

This game makes you value time. Imagine in a span of 60 seconds, you'd have to guess the "most out of this world", and "very impossible to guess" movie or song. It's by far, more intense, and more palpitating than beating a deadline at work, or coming to work a few seconds before a very important meeting. Nakakatense diba?

Charades, charades. You bring out the best and especially the worst in people. You're the game of life and the game of pure mockery! =D

Oh well, game's over. FOR THE TIME BEING.

Ika nga ni Ana, "see you at the thinking room!"

I'd like to say something

In a time when everything is in crisis,
or when everybody blames it on crisis,
I'd like to think, that in this world,
in this lifetime, there is that part in our hearts,
that even though small, there are still
simple joys we can draw strength from.

WB

I guess this is the best time to say so long...

to RAIN!

Happy summer everyone. Now everyone is saying, "ang init!" I say it too, but I am secretly loving the angry sun and that clear blue sky.

Welcome back Summer...

A Quote from BW

“It was quite a wedding and as I stood there watching I realized something I’d forgotten a long time ago. Sometimes in life there really are bonds formed that can never be broken. Sometimes you really can find that one person who will stand by you no matter what. Maybe you will find it in a spouse and celebrate it with your dream wedding. But theres also the chance that the one person you can count on for a lifetime, the one person who knows you sometimes better than you know yourself is the same person who’s been standing beside you all along.”

- Marion St. Claire (Bride Wars, 2009)

The movie is just an OK movie. I dont like the idea of best friends becoming rivals. Or maybe I am just not their target market. Nah!

You Lift It Up And Show It Around

..........

Your number one source of hope and your champion supplier of happy thoughts will not always be there to shower you with those.

Sometimes, believe it or not, tables will turn.

Your reliable source can also be your greatest source of pain.

And suddenly you will find yourself staring at nothing. For without it, you just don't know how to build your army of happy thoughts again. And well, wonder if you would ever have an army again soon.

Another Blah

It’s been a while.

Lying awake in bed at night is by far the most uncomfortable,

The most obnoxious, the most annoying

Experience for me.

I don’t know who and which is doing the nudging,

There are a lot of times when I mix up instinct with judgment,

Or when a little anxiety comes to life and consumes me,

Or when past rushes and meets the present,

Those things.

Hmmm.

I get by, sometimes after a few sessions of palpitations,

Sometimes after a constant exchange of sms with a friend,

Sometimes with a pillow under my feet and a blanket

All rolled up under my head.

I get by most of the time, because I try to.

I shrug and doodle and look away.

I get by and wait for the next day to arrive.

A friend once said, “wag na lang”.

I thought, “what a sad , sad statement”.

I used to say that often.

But I am a natural rebel, and a hard headed emotional,

Who draws strength from the weirdos and the

Beautiful songs of Christmas.

I hoard and preserve happy moments.

Those free spirits.

I lie awake at night, almost every night.

I put my pillow under my feet and stare at my

Dark ceiling, or fix my eyes to the black sky outside.

I lie awake, wait for sleep to come

And then thank JC for another beautiful day.

It’s been a while.

Mars

This afternoon, before we closed, I saw that the sky was sort of pink orange...

Unusual, but definitely interesting and beautiful. It was bright pink with shades of dark orange, and then below it were the crazy, curly clouds...

I gazed at it for a while and thought, "This must be the work of the Sun beginning to set".

But really, the thought was, "The Sun must be in a swinggy mood today."

After all, everybody in Ubas St. is in their very festive mood.

The Sun might have felt it too, right?

(Too bad, i ddnt have my camera with me at work)

The Colorful Tree That Lights Up At Night

Whilst the darkness fills up my once blue sky,

you light up just like that;

and throw beautiful colors to the black earth.

You uplift the worn-out-for-the-day twirlie somehow.

jane doe

I wish to thank RJ of RJTV.

When I went out of my room this morning, I saw Jane from the other room. Her door was slightly ajar and I saw her looking intently on the TV screen. I could only see Jane's side view but I noticed a smile on her face. I could see her eyes getting chinky again from smiling. So I had to get a little closer.

And voila, Jane was watching Danny Osmond and Tom Jones on RJ TV! So that's why she was smiling. The song may have reminded her of her bagets days or even her colegiala days. I thought, "Wow, in a few years, when i'd have my own kids, I'd be like Jane also, secretly smiling and stealing some alone time."

It was pleasant to see Jane that way. Well, Jane is a bubbly lady, but most of the time, you'd see Jane busy with work and with her family. So really, having some quality time alone is something I rarely see Jane does.

And this is exactly why I want to thank RJ of RJTV.

I love seeing my mom super relaxed and just having some fine time.

=)

I Hope Always

Sometimes, I'd like to think it's just there, right across the street. And whenever you need and want it, you'd just walk over there; knock on its door, read a magazine on the patio while drinking lemonade; and well, just gaze at the bright blue sky and drink some more.

Sometimes, it's nice to think that way.

There.

Whenever I read your letter, I feel so light
and happy and dreamy again, completely forgetting
that I am, well, not in my "swing out sister" mode...

However, after reading it, reality will sink in,
as if it punched me in my stomach,
making me throw up the "happy swing out sister" mode I felt moments ago.

The letter is from the past.
It won't ever come back.
It won't ever come true.

Monologue Part I dont know

Bakit ba ganon?

Motto of the season

Been a while...

Parallel Parking

I hardly parallel park. It’s intense, it’s crazy, it’s tricky.

Parallel parking requires approximation, which has to be near exact and near perfect -- making it seem like that space is totally meant for your car; like you own that space and that space belongs to you, and to you alone.

So this is why I hardly parallel park.

I barely make a space my own. In addition to this, I find it difficult to recall a time when a certain space is perfect and just right for me.

I sometimes go round and round the streets, wasting my gas, desperately searching for a little space that’s not challenging – a space that won’t demand much from my poor approximation skills.

I get lucky sometimes; I occasionally spot a space nice enough. However, as much as I want to make this space my own, some things get in the way -- things that are difficult to deal with and apparently menacing.

I don’t like that. I need a space that’s just right; that no matter how inexperienced I am in terms of parallel parking, that space still belongs to me and to me alone.

And this is why I hardly parallel park.

I cannot find my own perfect parking space.

jan and janice talking

While looking for a place to eat, Janice spotted some medical students in their usual all-white uniform.

“Jan, ano kaya kung mag-doctor ako?”

“O eh di siguradong macre-credit lahat ng subjects naten nung college!”

Jan and Janice took up Communication Arts and Advertising in MC six years ago. The only science subject they had was Biology, and it was only a minor subject.

Hmmm, should Janice pursue her dream of becoming a doctor, it would take her additional 8 to 10 years in school.

So Janice decided to drop the subject. She couldn’t and wouldn’t study that long again.

It’s just so long for her.

So what else could Jan and Janice do in their idle time? They don’t know yet.

They never liked idle time, especially Jan.

Idle time is for young adults.

360 Degrees

When you think all the things you want from this world are already within reach, think again.

There would be times when your supposed big leap would turn out to be a giant back step; Or when you thought you were right there, stepping on top of your big dream cloud, you'd suddenly feel a slow churn climbing up from the soles of your feet to the core of your heart; after a while, you would feel nauseated and would decide to come down from your dreamboat.

Or a very basic example like, one night, you prepared the clothes you would wear for work the next day, but morning came and then you decided to pick out a completely different wardrobe.

When your mind is set to doing something; when you are so focused on what you need to achieve and who you want to become; or when you believe that all certain things are right and perfect for you, why does, without any disclaimer at all, a feeling of doubt cross your little perfect world and disrupt you, one way or another?

Why the sudden revolution? Why the abrupt endings or the unexpected actions and super impulsive decisions? Why do they happen? Did we just wake up and find out that this was not healthy anymore? How can we ever cope up? And how can we know that this whole reinvention is best for us?

As for me, the feeling will either leave you with a big hole in your chest, making you so empty and sullen for disappointing yourself or the other people; or give you a taste of peace for freeing yourself from the trap you hardly knew you were in.

I learned that changes are bound to happen. It just depends on us; on how we are going to entertain or not entertain them. They bump into you because you may need more in your life, you may need growth. You may need to breathe a newer, fresher air.

We come down from our dreamboats from time to time. It’s not bad. It’s normal.

We change our minds. We change our lives. We change ourselves.

Guess no one stays the same after all.

END!

Pinoy Titans

This evening, I got my first dose of happy cells. Finally.

And it darn felt so good!

Until now, I am still high on happy hormones. As happiness is a bit scarce lately, what happened tonight was relieving and definitely included in my a-list of happy thoughts.

So what happened?

Team VPR won the first basketball game tonight. And I am so proud of my boys! Good thing I brought my red tambourine and my very promising red and yellow pom-poms. I think i yelled my lungs out during the game together with the girls. But who cares? This is my first hooray after the sad event and I had so much fun.

First hoorays don't happen to most people, maybe they do, but it can hardly be considered as a first hooray. I am glad it did to me and it was real. It felt beautiful. I so wish for another hooray. Maybe... if I can feed myself with so many hoorays, the other stuff may just dissolve and leave me feeling light again. This lightness that I always associated myself too before. Because now, I am so aging with gloominess. I think I sometimes drag myself to something. There is no more the willingness and the energy to do it. I don' t like that. That is why when I watched the game tonight, I had a feeling of lightness once again. It may be because my team won, but more importantly, I experienced a change. No more thinkathon series after work. No TV to entertain you on a boring friday night. But a few hours of cheering for my team... and cheering for myself I guess - for surviving, for staying sane and strong.

It was heavenly. Great balls.

Not Jason Castro!

I would be very heartbroken if Jason would leave American Idol tomorrow night. But I am getting ready.

Why was he so stupid to forget the lyrics of the song? And why did he choose that song in the first place? It had no recall, no appeal at all.

But still, I would love him to be in the Final Three..

Magmimiracle kaya?

Not Jason Castro!

I would be so heartbroken if Jason Castro would leave American Idol tomorrow night.

Why was he so stupid to forget the lyrics of the song? And why did he choose that song in the first place? It had no recall, no appeal at all. Ischupid men.

April Sun

April is almost over,
My bright blue sky,
My sunshine,
My happy rays of the sun!

Rain is starting to pour every night.I never like the rainy season.
It's gloomy. Just sad.

I dreamed of summer as my happy thought.
I dreamed of April as my sole reinforcement.

But the cold wind of May,
and the strangeness of June,
They approach me fast and
cunning.

I want the Sun to embrace me with warmth,
to kiss my nose and say,
"I won't hide beneath the clouds".

I want the Sun to burn it -
until it turns into ash...
So I can blow it away.

So even if May and June come,
I will be alright.

Masaya Ba?

I Hate To Say, "I Told U So.."

What's wrong with Brooke White?

Did she just stop the orchestra and ask to start all over again? Is American Idol just a mere songfest?

What's wrong with Brooke White? I so hate, "I told you so." (Please refer to my previous entry). And what's with the pa-cute eyes while singing? I don't think you can fool the audience no more.

On the other side of the AI news, I think David Cook really is the one to beat (sadly). He's way better that Archuleta. I am not a big fan of Cook. I don't like his humongous skull although his voice is really powerful and he's very very original.

I hope Jason Castro stays for another week. (maisingit lang.)

Thursday, April 17, 2008

Should Have Been Brooke.

I don't know.

But I just think Brooke White should have been the one to leave AI season 7 instead of Kristy Lee Cook (yep, KCL left AI tonight). Brooke is boring for me. I don't recall watching her sing from start to finish. Pour moi, she's got to go too. At least with Kristy, you see how she exerts effort when she sings; how determined she is to stay longer. I think she's even getting better. But well..

I just hope it will be Brooke next week.

AI's Best Episode.

The episode tonight (Mariah Carey Night) of American Idol was I think the best episode they ever had.

Everybody was great.

Or maybe it was because Mariah had so many beautiful songs, all loaded with soaring emotions.. -- that's why they were able to come up with winning performances. But nevertheless, the remaining 7 finalists were all amazing. Even Kristy Lee Cook sounded phenomenal.

However, it was David Cook who stole the show. As much as I don't like David Cook, he's truly a great performer, original and he can sing very well.

I wonder who's gonna go home tomorrow night.

I just hope it would not be Jason Castro. I can't help but smile when I watch him.

mascara. Ang saya ko. Kulang na lang mapulang
lipstick!

Tambak kasi ang labada
sa trabaho
at sa bahay.

Nakakapanglambot na ng laman
minsan.

Kaya, for a change,
kahit kailangan ko na bumalik
sa salt mines,
ayun, nagmaganda muna ako,

at nakipag-QT sa sarili.

Another Reason to Scream Yahoo!

This summer, I promise to read more books. I am done with New Moon by Stephenie Meyer. It wasn't that great as I thought it would be, maybe because I am very much against with Belle wanting to be a vampire. But I havent read Twilight yet, the first of the three books, so maybe I am missing out on some important details...

Although I gotta admit, New Moon's got some winner quotable quotes. You really can feel the lines while you're reading them...

###

I will be starting on my next book, The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. I have high expectations.

Movie pala 'to. :D

###

Have a happy summer guys!

I Told You So

Happy thoughts and happy moments are slowly filling up some boring spaces in my life. :-) Great balls.

Ramielle

Ramielle just doesn't make the cut...

She's got no a-teeet-tud, no facial expression, no grooves, no style, no gestures, no confidence
... She just stands there, sings and stares blankly at the camera from time to time.

I really hope she'd improve...

(But what I really hope is for Jason Castro to win!)

New Moon

I am currently consuming New Moon by Stephenie Meyer...

The following lines are just simply hard to forget and digest. Read on...

[Bella broken hearted as Edward left her...]

"I waited for the numbness to return, or the pain. Because the pain must be coming. I'd broken my personal rules. Instead of shying away from the memories, I'd walked forward and greeted them. I'd heard his voice so clearly in my head. That was going to cost me, I was sure of it."

"As much as I struggled not to think of him, I did not struggle to forget. I worried - late in the night, when the exhaustion of sleep deprivation broke down my defenses - that it was all slipping away. That my mind was a sieve, and I would someday not be able to remember the precise color of his eyes, the feel of his cool skin, or the texture of his voice. I could not think of them, but i must remember them..."

Those perfect words. Great balls.

Meeeshell, my belle

*** Kristy Lee Cook should leave American Idol NOW. She is like a long overdue book, or an unsettled phone bill with interest! Come on!

*** My Jason Castro, I think, should sing more upbeat songs. He's always in the safe mode. I wanna see him dance a bit or sing a bit faster... Hayy.

I can't wait for the results tomorrow!

Just a little cherva over the weekend

I look stupid. :D
I tried biking last Sunday with PS. It was exhausting, much more exhausting and dangerous than football. But I'd definitely try again next week. ;)
I absolutely do not like the idea of cellulites on my chicken legs.

I wonder how and why

On Janina San Miguel winning the Bb. Pilipinas World...

Personally, I think it's okay if she can't speak English fluently... Most of the beauty candidates in international beauty pageants cannot speak English as well. As most of us know, they have interpreters during the question and answer portion. When you are fluent in English, it does not necessarily mean you are smart or above the rest already...

However... when you cannot speak English fluently and cannot also even answer the question in Filipino, I think that's a big, major problem. Bb. Pilipinas Host, Paolo Bediones, had already told her that's it's ok to answer in Filipino, but hoh boy, she went on and made a complete mess.

So how did she bag the Bb. Pilipinas World title? I really do not know.

I Smile

I smile,
I look at you,
and then I flash my big smile again.
I think about you,
I smile.
I am dreamy,
I am in love.
I just love to look at you.
So I can smile again
and think about you
and be dreamy again,
and be in love again.
:-)

Still Jason Castro

Yahoo, Jason Castro is in! I really hope he won't get eliminated soon. I love how he effortlessly sings and how he looks at the camera. It's like... he's looking at me... Chosz. I just love the guy. ;)

Purefoods vs Sta Lucia

I am no fan of PBA. I am not even familiar with the Pinoy basketball players now. However, back in the days, I used to love Vergel Meneses and Allan Caidic. I grew out of it I think.

But while Ebu's watching the final battle between P and SL, I found myself stealing some glimpses on our TV set - just checking who's leading...

You see, I don't like defeats, especially when I so adore the contestants or the players or even in movies where the lead stars die. I feel like I have been cheated and I must admit, there are times that I feel I am in a denial period. haha. I was still sitting and waiting if the director decided to make his death a dream. But of course, I was wrong.

And this is why I don't watch basketball games anymore. I easily get dissapointed when someone losses and it's too sad to just shrug it off. I don't want my "bidas" to lose. I want them victorious. Because if they are victorious, I feel victorious too and I will think about it until I cannot anymore remember the smallest details! :)

Re: Purefoods and Sta Lucia game, well, I go for James Yap's team. Just because he is the only one I know...

I gotta admit that...

I left my heart in Palawan.
One week has already passed and I am still on vacation mode.

Jason Castro

Although he isn't really the best in American Idol, I want Jason Castro to win or at least make it to the final five or three perhaps or final twelve even.
I like his voice, it's smooth, clean, just fantastic...

Go Jason Castro!

To those who can't remember how he looks like, he's the one with dreadlocks.

"holey" @!#

Friday wasn't a great day. It started off ok,
but as it went on, it just felt odd and
sad and morbid all at the same time. It was,
well, empty - like a big hole in your chest.
Do you ever feel that? Out of nowhere, the strange
feeling just pops out, destroys you and
crushes you and drains out all your energy.
Anyway. Friday night came, and everything became
worse. It was so humid and so quiet that you almost
felt beaten. You tossed and turned, you turned on the
tv and too sad to find out there was nothing happy
on tv. You felt like crying, but there were no tears,
you started thinking why you were feeling that way,
but your mind wouldnt just work and was just blurred.
You thought hard, you closed your eyes and you thought
even harder. You are adorned with almost
everything but why? Why couldnt you sleep? Why do you feel
like an empty can? But all you got was the soft
hush of your air conditioning system. You let out a sigh,
closed your eyes, and talked to the high heavens.
Take this away from me. I know I am not a good person,
but at least please let me sleep tonight...
I am sad and I think I still deserve some good night sleep...

Sa Bayan

Saturday afternoon after work --
(center of commerce in the island).
Masarap mamasyal sa bayan.
Madaming naglalakad na mga tao,
magkakakilala man

Patingin-tingin.
Magaan ang feeling.
Masasaya

Got A New Cherva.

I recently purchased a Sony Cybershot Camera. It's a big buy especially for someone like me who's kind of scared spending big for a hobby.

But I am very much loving my new camera. It's HD and it has so many features that my old Lumix doesn't have. I love the speed shooting feature because it makes me capture super real shots! There are also some technical features but I am no professional photographer so I can hardly understand them ( apertures, etc. :D).

This will really make me busy in my spare time. I have no extra curricular activity and I am kind of bored with my daily routine, so this one will truly perk me up!

(though I gotta admit, it's a bit harsh on my pocket).

I have taken some photos. I am so loving the picture quality. Look oh!

All wrinkled up.

I love the way the camera creates texture making the picture more alive. Every detail clear.

Jollibee is for bagets.

SpongeBob upclose.

There are still so many techniques and features buried inside this little piece of machinery and I have the entire night to at least scratch its surface I think.

Earn Moolah, Blogsvertise!

Yep, I heard about this site. Time for me to earn some moolah with my non-consistent personal opinions. I just registered and I hope I will be able to write for them.

How does this work? Well you gotta go to their site, register and when they have reviewed your registration, you might be lucky and receive an assignment from them. You may now write about this assignment and you may also get paid! righteous...

My dear friends, this is the beauty of online advertising. (I just wanna add, online advertising was our thesis in Miriam).

Let's cross our fingers guys! Try it too!

On Amazing Race

Marc and Rovilson in Amazing Race are truly amazing!

It's so fun watching them, they're very competitive and athletic. Go Go Go!

I want them to win! I hope they win!

###

Should Amazing Race Asia invite me (naks) to join their race, I would definitely pair up with PS. Not because he's my SO, and SOs are supposed to be together all the time, but because PS is fast, street smart and athletic. He can lead and we can win. Ching. :D

Or, I can also pair up with Banana. She may be timid at times but oh come on, her mental skills can really outlast someone else's physical skills! She's logical and she's very good in directions (I think). :D

However, a bigger question lies...

Would they want to pair up with someone LIKE ME?

All I know is to run fast (like Forrest).

I cannot even swim.

Labadami

My own version of Pila-Balde.
Although it's back aching and slightly hurting my hands,
doing my own laundry is one of the few things
I look forward to doing.
I love the smell of my detergent,
and I love to rinse my clothes inside
a huge banyera.
Heehee!

Hello Two Thousand and Eight!

Weeeh!!!

A brand new year? Time really does fly fast... I havent even accomplished yet the few things I planned last year. I have so many pending activities!

However, I don't feel like making a pact with myself. I am really tired of New Year's Resolutions. (bitter?) So there, in my own time maybe. :)

For now, I will just say hello to Two Thousand and Eight!

Come, Let's Relive Love.

I never felt magic crazy as this
I never saw moons knew the meaning of the sea
I never held emotion in the palm of my hand
Or felt sweet breezes in the top of a tree
But now you're here
Brighten my northern sky.

Colors of the season

I enjoy the bright color of
blue above me.
But today, a boring color of grayish white
flit around my head just like a giant halo.
I want the bright blue back.

It is definitely in my air now.
The colors of Christmas, right by my house.

I feel like a dead beat, worn out tire.
I am pale and rusty.
Shimmer will be very handy at this point.
I have no color.

geyting reydy

Maligayang pasko.

Be Deliriously Happy

Be deliriously happy. yep. from the words of Anthony Hopkins in Meet Joe Black.

I believe this is going to be my mantra starting today. Be deliriously happy.

My mantra for the past eight years of my life is, "I can get away with anything because I am a supreme human being". Whenever a feeling of sadness and frustration get the best of me, I leave the room, and just shrug it off, thinking that a brighter day will come my way.

However, I realized this isn't going to be the deal for the rest of my life. I decided to "be deliriously happy" even if a huge amount of trouble come my way today or in the future. No need anymore to shrug it off and walk away. I think I have been seasoned well and I think today and the future is the best time to just be hilarious!

26!

##

What are my ramblings as of this moment? Let's see.

Number 1. I am thinking of buying those "look younger in 7 days" beauty creams. Pourquoi? I think prevention is better than cure. So even if I still don't have fine lines on my face, i am very considering this idea. I am 26 after all. (big deal!)

Number 2. I wanna see my goats (one boy and one preggy girl goat). I wonder where and when I can sell their future babies. Dumdidum didum. When I see them, I will post their pictures here. Watch out for those! :D

Number 3.

Number 4.

Number 5. Wala na.

See You When I Get There

As we approach the latter part of 2007, there are still some few things I aim to achieve and have.

One of which is watching again that popular-for-being-original-and-exciting gameshow, The Crystal Maze. Who would ever forget funny host Richard O'Brien and his four zones: Aztec, Medieval, Industrial and Futuristic (I think)? Oh I love this game show so much! I wanna go to Quiapo now and see if they have this one ( I also wanna get Heroes DVD - seasons 1 and 2).

:-)

Sana,sana, sana!

Heto ang patikim. It's nice to hear once again the CM theme song! Addict?

Utada Makes Me Sigh

26 is a huge number!

Happy Birthday to me!

As a birthday treat, I read my Libra horoscope on PDI. You see, I stopped reading horoscopes and relating them to my life years ago. I realized I didn't need horoscopes anymore to make me feel better. So I stopped reading.

But I guess old habits are just so hard to eradicate (?) from one's system. So here goes my birthday horoscope:

YOU BORN TODAY: You understand the human condition and use satire to comment on it. You're direct, even blunt if need be. (You can be tough.) Many of you have strong technical skills for something. You set high standards for yourself and drive yourself to achieve your goals. The year ahead could involve a major change, perhaps as significant as something that happened around 1999.

Something that happened around '99? I was a freshie in Miriam back then...

Dumdidum didum.

Halo-Halo ispeysyal!

HH # 1:

Pacquiao vs Barrera na! Nakipagpustahan ako. P50 -- tumba sa round 9 si Barrera. Good luck and go go go pacman! sapakin mo nga sa nguso si barrera! ;-)

HH#2:

I am considering a new business venture. Together with my sis, Piningpine, in the coming days, we will be buying goats slash kambing slash meee-eeehhhhh. A boy and a preggy girl goat. What are we gonna do about them? Well, we will sell their kids in the future.

(Let me correct myself -- I am not considering this new venture. I have made up my mind and I am just waiting for my folks to inform me when we're gonna buy our dear kambings..)

From farm to the world! Lala!

HH#3

I have been listening to Dolores's newest album. I am beginning to like her songs.

HH#4

I hate celebrity couples like: JUDAY AND RYAN; HEART AND JERICHO; REGINE AND OGIE. They make me say "bwaaakkkk" with some kalagara or phlegm on the side. Phew.

HH#5

Few days to go and I'm officially twenty-six years old.

Oh well.

HH#6

I saw on HBO a few days ago, My Girl. Yep, it brought me back to my youth and to times when i was just a kid who's always in haste to finish all her homeworks so she could watch more cartoons on TV. ..

HH#7

We had an American customer last week. He was asking us how much was this refrigerator in dollars?

Pinagpawisan ako at nawala sa wisyo. I suddenly could not remember how to convert! I was dividing and multiplying and dividing and multiplying when Mr. American said, "Let's try again.."

Philippine peso divided by 45 = amount in dollars!

Dang!

I was so humiliated. I was even in front of everbody. Napahiya ako. Pero well, ganoon lang talaga.

Logic and common sense and my complete messed up life with Mathematics must be blamed for this.

Over Dinner

YEHEY! daw.

First time nila kasi kakain doon.

May take out pa.

Nakakatuwa lang. Kagulo kami kanina doon.

good night.

I love UMD for life

Too bad, I missed the showdown of Streetboys and Universal Motion Dancers on ASAP last Sunday. Elder sis Poang P said it was the bomb!

But hey! Thanks to Billie's blog, I was able to watch it! :-)

It's KC as usual

How come KC Concepcion is the new face of Bayo?

I cannot help myself but compare her to Lea Salonga, Kitchie Nadal and Barbie Almalbis, THE previous faces of Bayo.

What is the common factor of these three great Pinays? They're all true Pinays and proud of it. When you see them on TV or personally, you can identify with them because they carry with them an aura exclusively exuded by a certified Pinay.

But when you see KC, you just can't feel anything from her. There is no Pinay living inside her except for her brown skin and dark brown eyes. She is no local, no native. That's it. Listen to her talk and see how she carries herself, she spells western, not even asian. Well, there's nothing wrong with being polished like that. My little point is there's also nothing wrong with trying to see the other side of the world. After all, you are actually stepping on it right this very moment.

I am a huge fan of Bayo. I love their clothes as they fit me perfectly but seeing humongous KC posters inside their stores and even in their dressing rooms, i think i may have to say "pass".

Just another personal view. Fin.

Yabang kase

Did you see on TV patrol the great singing act of Christian Bautista??? Did he ever rehearse? Or did his self confidence get the best of him once again?

Puro kase ka-epalan ang nasa isip eh. No popcorn for you men. You should really learn from this. If I were your big boss, I would demand you to report to my office and give you a memo!

I do hope you're enjoying the rest of your week.

Sponge Cola

I listen to Sponge Cola whenever I am not at my hundred percent. I can find somewhere in Yael's voice a some kind of an escape. I love it when I can feel something from the vocalist. I love it when he sings from the heart, and at the same time, gives me the precise explanation of why I am feeling this or that. Especially today.

I have below the lyrics of my favorite song, Gemini. I love this song so much. Ang sarap sarap pakinggan. Here goes...

Come a little closer
Flicker in flight
We’ll have about an inch space
But I’m here I can breathe in
What you breathe out
Let me know if I’m doing this right
Let me know if my grip’s too tight
Let me know if I can stay all of my life
Let me know if dreams can come true
Let me know if this one’s yours too
‘Cause I see it
And I feel it
Right here
And I feel you right here
The vacuous night
Steps aside to give meaning
To Gemini’s dreaming
The moon on it’s back
And the seemingly
Veiled room’s lit
By the same star
And I feel it right here
And I feel you right here

Yun lang, good luck to moi.

I Love Dolores

The first audio / cassette tape I ever bought with my own money, if I am not mistaken, was the "No Need To Argue" album of my favorite band in the whole wide world, The Cranberries.

I have really become an extremely devout fanatic of this one. That's why when Cranberries split up, I was one of the many people who got sad.

Anyway, finally, I got the first solo album of Dolores O'Riordan.

Well, I love Dolores and some songs in the album are a bit so-so. I was kind of expecting some mellow tracks. I think her musky voice will be perfect for some slow rock kind of songs. But I still adore her. My favorite tracks in the album are Apple of my Eye, October, and Stay With Me.

THe first time I listened to the CD, I wasn't ecstatic. But I will listen to it over and over again and it's just because I am a huge fan of Dolores.

What Happened To Women Empowerment?

Whenever I see the local news, I am afraid to admit that it is quite inevitable now to encounter news about Pinays being raped in the Middle East. The worse thing about this is they are videotaped and some evil arabos send the videos to their peers and sell it or even sell the poor Pinay.

Sigh.

Good thing Pinays now are more brave and smart. They report these cases to the embassy. I just hope their cases would be noticed and be regarded as highly urgent.

Why do they let their wives leave and live with horny strangers? How come they let their wives??? Why not them instead?

Yun lang.

Sloth

Pambihira!

All the while I thought today is wednesday... And of course wednesday nights are reserved for CSI Miami and CSI.

Tuesday lang pala.

I felt sad. I began to ask myself if my life was ok or if it was getting boring already. But really tonight, I am so bored. There's nothing else to do but blog or visit my friends' blogs and then go back here.

I am bored tonight. Nothing exciting is on TV ( that Bachelor show on ETC is on tonight, which I find to be really desperate). I am so bored tonight. I think I need some extra curricular activities to pump me up.

I have always wanted to learn boxing. The local gym in the island is offering it now. I inquired already but I guess my willpower at the moment is weak and dormant. I don't know. But of course, it's in my mental wish list already. So there, sooner or later, I will do boxing!

Sometimes nothing inspires me. Even today at work, I didnt go to our store this afternoon and instead hit the bed and checked what's on TV. I am such a sloth.

I couldn't come up of something naman to inspire me. Of course walking Jet with PS and his dog Brad makes a big difference, but when Im not doing that, there's nothing else to do but hit the bed, pretend working, and eat a lot.

End.

Harry

I finished reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows several weeks ago. The book was actually what I expected - Voldemort to be killed and Harry Potter to be alive! Although I must admit that I wasn't thrilled at all with how Voldemort die. I felt there weren't enough killing curses flying when Voldemort and Harry finally met. They most of the time talked and kind of resolved all the hanging questions in the book. Voldemort wasn't tortured, his death was fast. It would have been nicer if Voldemort suffered...

But I enjoyed reading the book nonetheless. I am planning of re-reading it just to keep it fresh in my head. :-)

Harry Potter Part 7 (the movie) will be a great idea too.

Of Vern, Gordy, Chris and Teddy

Hi,

I saw on HBO this afternoon, "Stand By Me". If you were a big fan of River Phoenix, you might have seen this movie a billion times like me.

The first time I saw this movie was when I was in grade school on VHS tape. Apapa's former secretary lent it to us and thought we would enjoy it. We actually did. It was even in my list of movies I would never get tired of watching.

For those who are not familiar with the movie or for those who already forgot it, lemme refresh or introduce it for you. "Stand By Me" is about the four young boys who went out hiking in the woods in search for a dead young boy's body, their first taste of adventure. As the movie went on, it showed more than just having some fun time walking along the railroad tracks; it showed a great deal of dilemmas and personal grievances and insecurities and how they were able, though a little only, to resurface amongst those issues and enjoyed a bit of empowerment.

Now that I have watched it again, it made me ask some questions and well, compelled me to return to my thoughts and reminisce a bit. But my major question would be, how come the twelve year old kids of this generation don't camp out anymore? The majority of this age group had their noses stuck on their PS2s or on their PCs for some online gaming. Well, well, well. I wish they can watch this movie and make them realize how fun it would be to ride a boat and fish or climb up the hill, lie down under the sun and run in the rivers and swim naked!

Oh and I have one more question, do most of us have this kind of special friendship? Nowadays, I guess it's really hard to keep friends, those few people who, unintentionally, etched a huge mark in your heart and in your mind. And just the thought of them makes you smile and makes you appreciate life a little more. Well, i think that kind of friendship seems rare now.

Thank God, this isn't rare for me. They are abundant actually. Praise you JC.

End.

If I...

If I would have to invent something not so spectacular...

I would have to invent a remote control for TV with a paging system in it. So it won't be hard for me to locate where it usually hides. I just have to press something on our TV set and voila, I hear a beep from our remote!

This may sound a little desperate because for the nth time we lost our remote control in our mess here at home.

End

Si Sister Nagpakasal Na!

There's more to come. I will just have to sleep now. Uploading is a bore.

My LSS which I Love

Wahahahay.

Finally, there came a song aptly made for me. Ching.

No, really, Yeng Constantino's Ako ang darna, ako ang dyosa song is climbing up my charts right this very moment. I am not quite sure when this song first ever hit the airwaves, but if ever this song has been there for some weeks or months now, I must really commend the songwriter and arranger (was it yeng?).

Grabe talaga, when I first heard this song, I was like, "Oh-wow-wow, this one I love!" This song is so me -- I talk always about being supreme and just getting away with anything and just being you.. Well, here it is now with music and all!

And of course, I googled the lyrics and copied a portion of the song and I really had to paste that portion here:

Ako si Darna, ako ang dyosa Ako ang talang nagniningning sa kalangitan Ako si Wonder Woman, ako ang superstar Akin ang sandali, ako ang reyna ng gabi

And then this one also:

Ako ang bida ngayon (Masyado kang ambisyosa) Wag kang kokontra kung ayaw mong masipa sa mukha (Kung kaya, e di subukan na) Masipa sa mukha (Sipain din sa mukha)

End!
